UPCOMING Mindfulness Programs
Emotions BC is proud to offer our Introduction to Mindfulness class. This monthly program is offered free of charge to families with loved ones struggling with mental health challenges. The concept of mindfulness helps us focus on being in the moment and without judgement. This process can help forge connection with not only our loved ones, but with everyone we come in contact in our busy and distracting lives. Mindfulness can be used to reduce stress, improve physical health, and make it easier to savour the pleasures in life as they occur. By focusing our minds and paying better attention on a connected level, we introduce empathy to our relationships and form stronger connections.
Each program is six (6) weeks long and there will be limited space in each class. This is NOT a drop in program – you will need to commit to all six sessions. If you are interested, please sign up by emailing Christine at info@emotionsbc.ca
NEXT SESSION DATE: Jan 27 - Mar 3, 2021 (Wednesday evenings; 7- 8:30 pm)
FACILITATORS: Paul Taylor + Chad Williamson
